Raag Desh is a Telugu film released on 23 April 1918. A relationship between two brothers, one of which is the landlord of their ancestral estate, descends into a rivalry for socio-economic power when the younger brother falls in love with the privileged daughter. This antagonism leads to tragedy. The film was directed by Pemburu Venkat Rao and produced by Dandu Babu under the banner Dandu Films. It starred Kidar Sharma, Nagini Bala Devi and Padmanabha Reddy in lead roles along with three other star performers including Nageswara Rao and Vilasrao Gajendragadkar as villains.
The film’s music was composed by Kidar Sharma and lyrics were written by Kidar Sharma, Panthulu and Dandu Babu.
